Joy is more than just a stuffed animal.
Joy is a talking AI plush toy that listens, learns, plays, and comforts your child.
Joy is a native-level bilingual friend who helps kids pick up English and Korean naturally.
Ask what a word means, practice pronunciation, or just have a free chat in either language — perfect for heritage learners and curious beginners alike.
Joy doesn't tell the story — your child makes it.
The hero comes from what your child loves, and at each step Joy asks "what happened next?" and "how did they feel?". Your child's words go straight into the story, and Joy reads the whole thing back at the end.
Joy remembers names, favorites and yesterday's chat.
Next time it opens with that story, and on birthdays it says happy birthday first. Ask about the weather and Joy tells you about your child's own town.
Word chain, English words, Korean words, name three, what happened first, why do you think, rhyme time, and story making.
Say "let's play" and it starts right away; otherwise Joy only offers a game when a topic winds down, and drops it the moment your child says no. Rules are explained on the first round only.
Whether your child is happy or sad, Joy is always there.
Joy reads your child's emotions and responds with warm, caring conversations. If your child says something worrying, Joy stops playing, encourages them to tell a trusted grown-up, and notifies you right away.
When kids ask "Why?", Joy answers in a fun and engaging way.
For facts Joy doesn't know, it says "Hold on, let me look that up" and searches only pre-approved children's sources like Britannica Kids, NASA and the Smithsonian — and says "I'm not sure" rather than making things up.
Kids don't operate Joy. Parents set up the doll in the app and can see every conversation, any time.
Name (what your child calls it), personality (playful, warm, calm), how many jokes, voice (4), the language it speaks and the language your child learns (English, Korean), your child's interests (dinosaurs, animals, vehicles…) and parent notes. Interests become game heroes and topics; notes tell Joy what to be careful about.
Add your child's birthday and Joy says happy birthday first that day and chats about it. You get a heads-up the evening before. Scheduled reminders work like alarms, by weekday and time.
See everything Joy and your child said, and delete by item, by period, or all at once. Deleted chats leave Joy's memory too. Today's and this week's remaining talk time and any extra-minutes balance are here as well.
Self-harm, abuse and emergency signals are judged in two layers, answered with a fixed response, and reported to you immediately. Recurring signals are collected on the safety screen. The judgment is yours; Joy never diagnoses.
Every Sunday evening: what your child talked about this week and how they grew, in plain sentences.
Sentences come before numbers, and every suggestion names the research behind it.
How many chats and minutes, what they were about in two or three sentences, game results and how often your child laughed. The free plan shows this part too.
Two or three things drawn from this week's observations — "Your child finished the why-do-you-think game; notice the effort" — each with one thing to say at home and the study behind it in one line (Gunderson et al. 2013, Van Bergen et al. 2009 and others). Picking just one is plenty.
Counted automatically from everyday chats: words per turn, different words used, linking words like "because" and "so", feeling and thinking words, share of the learning language, story structure (stages 1–6) and story score. This week next to the past few weeks, and an honest "too early to tell" when the sample is small.
Every Sunday we look at how your child did in the games and move the word-game level one step at a time, with guardrails like at least 5 rounds and 3 unaided successes. A subscription feature.
It's not a grade — it's how things are going lately. The full report, past reports and sharing are part of the subscription; the free plan shows "At a glance" and talk time.
With the doll you can start for free. Cuddles+ extends talk time and unlocks the full report, auto-adjusted game levels and all four voices.
Need more time? Extra minutes (30 min, ₩3,000 / $3) are available on the website (Korean checkout for now) for free and subscribed accounts alike, used only after the day's and week's time is up, valid for 90 days. Subscriptions are bought in the app; extra minutes on the website.
