Turn the toy off and back on, then press and hold the [lightning] button for 3 seconds or more, before the spoken prompt starts. Once it enters Wi-Fi setup mode, choose your new network the same way you did during first setup.
These buttons do nothing while the toy is already connected to Wi-Fi. Press them right after powering on.
Yes, you can change it anytime in the Cuddles AI app. The basic voices are Sua (female) and Siwoo (male). A Cuddles+ membership adds Hobin (male) and Saeron (female). You can also customize Joy's name and personality.
The conversation voice changes right away, but the startup greeting changes only after the toy restarts. When you save in the app it offers to restart the toy for you. If the toy is off, the change applies the next time you turn it on.
Members-only voices revert to a basic voice when the membership ends. They become available again if you resubscribe.
Battery life varies depending on usage, but it provides plenty of playtime under normal use. You can check the battery status in real time through the app.

You can request an exchange or return within 7 days of receiving your order. Return shipping is free for defective products or incorrect shipments. For returns due to a change of mind, the customer is responsible for round-trip shipping costs.
The biggest difference is talk time. Free gives 5 minutes a day and 25 minutes a week per doll; Cuddles+ ($14.90/month) gives 20 minutes a day and 80 minutes a week per account. Cuddles+ also includes story making (3 a week), auto-adjusted game levels, 4 voices, and the full weekly report with past reports and sharing. Free chat, memory, safety alerts and the full conversation history are included on the free plan too.
With two minutes left, Joy says "We can play for two more minutes." When time is up, Joy wraps up with "Let's stop here for today — we'll talk again tomorrow." Joy is never cut off mid-sentence, and you get a notification. If you need more, extra minutes (30 minutes for $3) will be available on this website when US checkout opens — on the free plan too. They are used after the daily and weekly limits, and are valid for 90 days. The balance shows on the app's plan screen.
Joy is an AI plush and says so honestly when asked. If your child says something worrying — self-harm, abuse, an emergency — Joy stops playing, uses a fixed line to encourage them to tell a trusted grown-up, and you get an immediate notification in the app. Signals that need watching over time, like bullying or lasting sadness, are collected on the app's safety screen. Joy never diagnoses, and every conversation stays visible to you.
For factual questions like "What's the biggest dinosaur?", Joy says "Hold on, let me look that up" and searches only pre-approved children's sources such as Britannica Kids, NASA and the Smithsonian, then answers in two short sentences. No YouTube, news or social media — and if the answer isn't in those sources, Joy says it doesn't know rather than making something up. Only the question text is sent to the search provider, never your child's name or voice.
